For applications requiring wider panels — such as large aquarium viewing walls — multiple plates can be solvent-bonded edge-to-edge using PMMA cement to create seamless panels wider than the extrusion line’s maximum width. Thickness tolerance is ±1.5% with the optional online thickness gauge.

What downstream equipment is included? +

The complete line includes: single-screw extruder (120/130) with volumetric feeder, melt pump (Jwell/Maag/Nordson options), hydraulic screen changer, T-die, three-roll calendar (42CrMo, mirror-polished), cooling bracket with edge cutters, protective film coating unit, haul-off unit, cross cutting unit, longitudinal cutting unit, and conveyor with stacker. The film lamination unit applies protective PE film to both plate surfaces during production. Cross and longitudinal cutting units produce finished plate in custom dimensions inline.
